Netball

West Ivanhoe Netball Club is strongly committed to providing and promoting a safe, positive, and empowering environment for children and young people. Proactive measures are in place to ensure children and young people enjoy environments and experiences that ensure their physical, cultural and emotional safety. The welfare of children is always our first priority and there is zero tolerance to child abuse.

Child Safety Officer

Leanne has undergone training in child safety and is available as the first point of contact for any young person, or parent who wishes to raise any issue. Details for the child safety officer is communicated to all players and families at the commencement of each season.

All coaches, volunteers and staff over 18 years of age are required to hold a current Working with Children Check.

Cricket

The executive of the West Ivanhoe Sporting Club adopted Australian cricket's commitment to safeguarding children and young people in 2022.
